Amazon has expanded its tablet portfolio with three new models, the Alexa Tablet 8, Alexa Tablet 11 and Alexa Tablet 12 Pro. There is running inside the device and it supports Google Play Store apps, giving users access to apps beyond Amazon's own services. Alexa+ AI is another key feature across the range, while the top-end model gets a high-refresh-rate display and support for dedicated keyboard and stylus accessories.

All three tablets come with different screen ratios, and the starting price is $229.99, which translates to approx. Rs 19,300. The 12 Pro version, which is the topmost model will get two display choices, which also has a Nanomatte version, which is designed to counter reflections.

Amazon Alexa Tablet 8, Tablet 11, Tablet 12 Pro Price and Availability

The Alexa Tablet 8 is the base and the cheapest of all variants which is priced at $229.99 (approximately Rs. 19,300) and it comes in 4+64GB model and has the following colourways, Graphite, Rosette and Teal.

The next in line is the Alexa Tablet 11, which has a starting price of $329.99 (around Rs. 27,700) for the 8GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration. Buyers can choose between Graphite, Amethyst and Matcha finishes.

For those looking for a larger screen and more powerful hardware, the Alexa Tablet 12 Pro costs $499.99 (roughly Rs. 42,000) for the standard-display version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Nanomatte variant starts at $549.99 (approximately Rs. 46,000), with Graphite as its listed colour option.

Amazon is also offering accessories for the flagship tablet. The Pro Keyboard costs $149.99 (around Rs. 14,000), while the Pro Pen is priced at $89.99 (approximately Rs. 8,000).

All three tablets are available from today through Amazon and selected retail partners, including Best Buy and Target. Shipping in North America is scheduled to begin on October 14, with European markets set to follow on October 19.

Amazon Alexa Tablet 12 Pro Specifications

The Alexa Tablet 12 Pro has a 12-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 280 ppi pixel density and a 3:2 aspect ratio. For customers who are willing to go for the tablet, there are two options that they can choose from which is between a standard screen and a Nanomatte panel which sports an anti-glare finish.

Under the hood, there is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, which is an octa-core processor. Inside the device there is 16GB + 256GB RAM and storage configuration. There is a 13-megapixel rear camera and, for selfies you get an 8-megapixel front shooter.

The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, while audio comes through four speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The company claims that the tablet is capable of lasting up to 16 hours during video playback.

The 12 Pro supports two optional accessories. Its Pro Pen uses the USI 2.0 standard and offers 4,096 pressure-sensitivity levels, tilt detection and wireless charging. It also attaches magnetically to the tablet. The Pro Keyboard uses a magnetic connection as well, so users do not need to pair it over Bluetooth.

Software features include Alexa+ with On-Screen Intelligence and hands-free Live Sessions. Users can also access Prime Video, Audible and Amazon Music. A dedicated Kindle Sanctuary mode is designed for reading, with Amazon claiming up to 20 hours of reading time.

Amazon Alexa Tablet 11 Specifications

The Alexa Tablet 11 sits between the other two models in terms of size and price. It features an 11-inch 2.5K display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a pixel density of 276 ppi and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz.

The tablet uses a MediaTek 8189 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Its audio setup consists of two Dolby Atmos speakers. There is an 8-megapixel camera on the back and another 8-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.

Amazon claims the Alexa Tablet 11 can deliver up to 15 hours of battery life on a single charge.

The Alexa Tablet 8 is the smallest device in the new lineup, with an 8.7-inch display. It is powered by the same octa-core MediaTek 8189 chipset found in the Tablet 11, but comes with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6. The tablet has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Amazon claims a battery life of up to 14 hours.

Like the other two models, the entry-level tablet runs Android and provides access to the Google Play Store, alongside Amazon's services and Alexa+ features.
