The new model is being dubbed the Motorola Edge 70 Neo, and this model makes its way as the company steadily expands its 70 series lineup in the country across various segments.

Motorola Edge 70 Neo Launch To Happen Soon

As part of IFA 2026 announcements, the Lenovo-owned brand confirmed that the Motorola Edge 70 Neo will soon make its way to the Indian market. However, in the company's press release, there is mention of a more popular model like the Edge 70 Plus, Moto Snap Wireless Charger and the Moto Watch Ultra, but there is another name that makes an appearance in its availability section: the Motorola Edge 70 Neo.

This confirmation also comes after the Edge 70 New was seen in Motorola's Android 17 testing programme happening in India. There are leaked renders and images online, suggesting what the device could offer, like a flat display with a centre punch-hole. The bezels also seem to be slim, with a raised, square-shaped camera module on the back, which can be recognised as part of Motorola's ongoing design philosophy and will encompass three cameras inside.

The Motorola Edge 70 family has many members, like the Edge 70 Fusion and Fusion+, the base version of which the Edge 70 made its way to the market in 2025. Later, the Edge 70 Pro+ and Edge 70 Max made their way in June and July of 2026. The Neo version will add to this family of smartphones. The device is leaked to have four colourways, including dark green, light blue, olive green and pale pink. A 200 MP camera is also expected, but at launch the configuration might be different.
