Motorola is getting ready to expand its budget smartphone lineup in India once again. The company has officially confirmed that the Moto G37 Power and Moto G37 will launch in the country on May 19, and both phones are bringing a few upgrades over their global counterparts.
The announcement was made through Motorola India’s social media channels, while Flipkart has already put up dedicated teaser pages revealing key details about the upcoming devices. The phones will go on sale through Flipkart and offline retail stores after launch, although Motorola is still keeping the India pricing under wraps for now.

India Models Get A Faster Processor
Interestingly, Motorola is tweaking the specs slightly for the Indian market. While the global variants of the Moto G37 series debuted with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the Indian versions will ship with the newer MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor instead.
That means buyers here are getting a slightly more powerful version right out of the gate.
The Moto G37 Power Focuses Heavily On Battery Life
The Moto G37 Power appears to be designed for users who hate charging their phones every day. Motorola has confirmed a massive 7,000mAh battery on the device, paired with 30W wired fast charging support. According to the company, the phone can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge.
The standard Moto G37 will come with a smaller, but still sizable, 5,200 mAh battery.
Familiar Display and Software Experience
Both smartphones are confirmed to feature a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Motorola is also adding Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on both devices for better durability.
On the software side, the phones will run Android 16 out of the box. Motorola has also confirmed support for up to 12GB RAM configurations.
Camera and Durability Features
For photography, both models will include a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with quad-pixel technology. Motorola is also bringing a few premium touches to the affordable segment, including stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support.
The handsets will be MIL-STD-810H certified too, implying increased robustness when it comes to handling rough use in adverse environments.
Expected Pricing
The Moto G37 Power retailed in Europe for EUR 279 for the 4GB + 256GB version, whereas the Moto G37 went on sale for EUR 249 for the 4GB + 128GB variant.
Although there has been no official announcement regarding their prices in India yet, it appears that Motorola plans to price both phones in a similar range after conversions.
The larger battery, new chipset, and Android 16 mean that Motorola is clearly targeting the budget-friendly users who seek phones with extended battery life and minimal software bloat.
