Lava is getting ready to expand its Bold N2 lineup in India once again. After introducing the Lava Bold N2 4G, Lava Bold N2 Lite, and Bold N2 Pro earlier this year, the company has now confirmed the arrival of the Lava Bold N2 5G. The upcoming smartphone is set to debut in the country on June 3 at 12pm IST.

Ahead of the launch, Lava has already teased the phone through a dedicated Amazon microsite, giving users an early look at both the design and a few key details. The handset appears to follow the same design language as the standard Bold N2 4G model. It features a flat rear panel along with a square-shaped camera module placed in the top-left corner.

The camera setup includes dual rear sensors, led by a 13-megapixel primary camera, accompanied by an LED flash. The rear panel also carries subtle 5G branding, confirming support for next-generation connectivity. On the sides, the device is shown with a flat frame, while the power button and volume keys are placed on the right edge.

One of the major highlights confirmed so far is software. Lava says the Bold N2 5G will ship with Android 16 out of the box, making it one of the early budget smartphones in India to launch with the latest Android version pre-installed.

The smartphone will be sold through Amazon after launch and is expected to arrive in at least a blue colour option.

For context, the Lava Bold N2 4G was launched in February at a starting price of Rs. 7,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The phone came with a 6.75-inch HD+ display supporting a 90Hz refresh rate, a Unisoc SC9863A chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery. It also offered IP64-rated dust and splash resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a dual rear camera setup led by a 13-megapixel sensor.

With the new 5G model, Lava appears to be pushing the Bold series further into the affordable 5G smartphone segment, while keeping the familiar design and budget-focused approach intact.
