Jio, Airtel Rechage Mobile Recharge Plan: For users who prefer avoiding frequent recharges and want year-long calling and data benefits, annual prepaid plans have become one of the most practical options. Telecom companies are now adding extra perks to make these plans more attractive, including OTT subscriptions, cloud storage, AI-powered tools and premium services.

Both Jio and Airtel currently offer annual prepaid plans priced at Rs. 3,999. While the pricing remains identical, the bundled benefits and additional features offered by the two telecom operators are quite different. Here’s a closer look at what both plans bring to the table.

Jio Rs. 3,999 Annual Prepaid Plan

Jio’s Rs. 3,999 prepaid recharge comes with a full 365-day validity, bringing the effective daily cost to around Rs. 10.96. Subscribers receive 2.5GB of high-speed data every day, which adds up to nearly 912.5GB over the course of a year. The plan also includes unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS messages daily, along with unlimited 5G access for eligible users.

Beyond the standard telecom benefits, Jio is also bundling several entertainment and cloud-based services. Users get access to FanCode, JioTV through the JioTV mobile app, and 50GB of JioAICloud storage. The recharge also includes a three-month subscription to JioHotstar Mobile Plus Hollywood.

One of the biggest additions to the plan is the inclusion of Google Gemini Pro access for 18 months. This brings advanced AI tools along with benefits like 5TB cloud storage and features such as Nano Banana.

Airtel Rs. 3,999 Annual Prepaid Plan

Airtel’s Rs. 3,999 annual prepaid recharge also offers a validity of 365 days at roughly the same daily cost of Rs. 10.96. Customers get 2.5GB of data per day, unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, along with 100 SMS messages every day. Airtel is also offering unlimited 5G data for eligible users in supported regions.

On the entertainment side, the plan includes a one-year JioHotstar Mobile subscription worth Rs. 499.

Airtel is also focusing heavily on productivity and security features with this recharge. Subscribers get 12 months of Adobe Express Premium, which the company claims is valued at around Rs. 4,000. The plan also includes the Safe Network feature that helps block malicious links and sends alerts for spam calls, suspicious SMS messages and fraudulent banking OTP attempts. Users additionally get access to free Hello Tunes.

Which Rs. 3,999 Annual Plan Makes More Sense?

The choice between the two depends completely on what is important to you. Regarding the fundamental aspects of telecommunications that both telecom giants provide, both Jio and Airtel provide almost the same benefits of unlimited calls and data for a year.

The key difference between the two lies in the added value provided through their respective offers.

Jio seems to be more focused on entertainment along with artificial intelligence features by providing services like FanCode, JioTV, cloud storage, and Google Gemini Pro. As both the plans cost roughly the same per day, choosing the better one depends completely on what is important for you – entertainment and AI, or productivity and security-oriented benefits.
