It seems like the telecom service providers Airtel and Jio are experiencing isolated cases of downtime, with many users reporting loss of internet services on their devices. Airtel and Jio offer mobile and fixed communication services, which include devices like mobile phones, broadband internet, internet television, etc.

According to the downtime-detecting website Downdetector, users are currently facing problems while accessing the internet on their devices. We have personally checked it on our end at The Daily Jagran, and people have reported loss of mobile signal and internet services while using Airtel as well as Jio. According to Downdetector, 63 per cent of the reports are suggesting downtime is being experienced while using the mobile internet on Airtel.

"I am having difficulties in accessing mobile internet services on my Airtel number. The issue started from afternoon. I have also received message from Airtel regarding issues in mobile internet," a user from Noida told The Daily Jagran.

According to the graph on the website, at 1:40 PM the reports were 21 as opposed to the baseline of 11 reports, and the reports stand at 13 as opposed to the baseline of 11 at the time of writing this article. Although there is word yet on why there is a disruption in services.

Similar scenario can be observed in Jio, with 63 per cent of users having problems accessing mobile internet services. According to downtime detection website downdetector, the maximum amount of reports went up to 33 reports, against the baseline of 11 reports at 3:11 PM.

Although it must be noted that the number of reports based on the baseline is not that high, several users have reported problems at the time of writing this article. It indicates that these might be isolated incidences taking place, with most reports coming from Delhi-NCR regions. As of now the reports have stabilised with few users reporting that they have started to gain access to the internet, and the downtime detection website, Downdetector, is showing reports of stabilisation.
