iQOO has officially begun teasing the launch of the iQOO Z11 in India, indicating that the smartphone could be unveiled soon. While the company is yet to announce a launch date, reports suggest it could arrive in the country sometime in August.
Instead of revealing the phone directly, iQOO chose a playful approach. The company shared three binary code strings on X — 01011010, 00110001, and 00110001. Once decoded, they spell out "Z11", confirming that the teaser is indeed for the upcoming iQOO Z11.
The teaser doesn't reveal anything else, but that is unlikely to stay the case for long. iQOO is expected to start confirming more details, including the launch date and key specifications, over the coming days.
Some clues aren't meant to be read. They're meant to be decoded. 👀🔐

A secret is hidden in plain sight... but only if you can crack the binary.

Interestingly, the Indian version is tipped to be different from the model that debuted in China earlier this year. According to industry sources, the handset will be powered by MediaTek's new Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, making it the first smartphone in India to use the processor. The Chinese variant, on the other hand, is equipped with the Dimensity 8500 SoC.
Another notable change could be the display. The Indian iQOO Z11 is expected to feature a 3D curved screen, unlike its Chinese counterpart.
For an idea of what to expect, the Chinese version of the iQOO Z11 comes with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display offering a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. It is available with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage.
On the camera front, it packs a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel secondary camera, while a 16-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls. The phone also includes a 7K Ice Dome VC liquid cooling system to help keep temperatures in check during gaming and other demanding tasks.
It remains to be seen how many of these features will make it to the Indian variant, as the processor and display are already expected to be different. With the teasers now live, more official details should be announced in the days leading up to the launch.
