Instagram is making it easier for creators to turn videos captured with Meta's smart glasses into more immersive Stories. The platform has rolled out a set of new creation tools for Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta and the recently introduced Meta Glasses, giving users more control over how first-person footage is presented before it's shared.

One of the biggest additions is called Spin View. Instead of watching a Story from a fixed angle, viewers can move their phone around to explore more of the scene from the creator's perspective. The idea is to make first-person videos feel less flat and more like they're experiencing the moment alongside the person wearing the glasses.
Instagram is also introducing Multi-Cam support, which combines footage recorded on Meta Glasses with video captured on a smartphone. Rather than switching between clips, both perspectives appear together in a single Story, with the app automatically syncing them to save creators from editing everything manually.
The update doesn't stop there. Videos recorded with Meta's smart glasses can now be edited directly inside Instagram's Story editor using a handful of new tools. Expand lets users reframe wide-angle footage to draw attention to the main subject, Audio helps cut down background noise while making voices clearer, and Speed gives creators the option to slow down or speed up clips depending on how they want their Story to flow.

Instagram says these features are available through the native Story editor. When creating a Story, users simply need to select photos or videos captured with Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta or Meta Glasses. Supported media will be marked with a glasses icon in the phone's gallery, and tapping that icon inside the editor reveals the new Story options, including Spin View, Multi-Cam and the editing tools
