Infinix is getting ready to launch a new budget smartphone in India. The Infinix Smart 20 is set to debut on June 8, and ahead of the launch, the company has already revealed several details about the handset through a dedicated Flipkart microsite.
The upcoming smartphone will take over from the Infinix Smart 10, which arrived in India last July. The Smart 20 is still entry-level but gets some nice updates like a bigger screen, a new MediaTek processor, and support for up to 2TB of storage.

Design-wise, it keeps things simple with a flat frame and rear panel having a 3D texture finish. On the back, you'll find a rectangular camera bump with dual lenses and an LED flash. On the front, users will get a hole-punch display that accommodates the selfie camera. The handset measures 7.7mm in thickness and will be available in Cloudline Blue, Polaris Titanium, Shadow Black, and Sunlike Orange colour options.
Under the hood, the Infinix Smart 20 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. Storage expansion is one of its key highlights, with support for microSD cards of up to 2TB.
The smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch display, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate – still pretty rare in budget phones. It boasts a 5,200mAh battery supporting 15W fast charging, and a handy 5W reverse charging option for those times you need to top up your smartwatch or friend's phone.
Infinix says this battery can last a whopping 39 days on standby. Plus, they claim their device can handle IP64-rated dust and water splashes, giving you some peace of mind in daily use.
Another feature that stands out is Ultra Link. Infinix says the technology can enable wireless communication between compatible Infinix smartphones at distances of up to 1km, although the company has yet to share more details about how the feature works in real-world scenarios.

The Infinix Smart 20 will officially launch in India on June 8 at 12pm IST and will be available for purchase through Flipkart.
For reference, the Infinix Smart 10 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 6,799 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. It featured a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 700 nits peak brightness, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The handset was powered by the Unisoc T7250 processor paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.
