Honor X80 Pro Max Price And Availability
Honor has launched the X80 Pro Max in multiple storage configurations in China. The base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 28,000). The 8GB + 256GB model costs CNY 2,199 (around Rs. 31,000), while the 8GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 35,000).
For users looking for more memory, Honor is also offering a 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 39,000).
The smartphone will go on sale in China starting June 26 through Honor's official online store. Buyers can choose from Lightning Red, Moonlight White, Mystic Black and Vibrant Orange colour options.
Display Takes Centre Stage
The Honor X80 Pro Max features a 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel supports 3,840Hz PWM dimming, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and 1.07 billion colours.
However, the headline feature is its claimed peak HDR brightness of up to 10,000 nits, a figure that immediately grabs attention. The display is protected by aluminosilicate glass, while the phone also carries IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
Snapdragon Chipset Powers The Device
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor. The octa-core chipset combines four efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz with four performance cores clocked up to 2.6GHz. Graphics duties are handled by the Adreno 812 GPU.
The device is available with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage.
On the software front, it runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.
Cameras Keep Things Simple
Unlike many smartphones that rely on multiple rear cameras, Honor has opted for a simpler setup on the X80 Pro Max.
The phone features a single 50-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilisation and support for up to 10x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Both cameras support video recording, with the rear sensor capable of capturing footage at up to 4K resolution at 30fps.
The Battery Is The Real Headliner
The standout feature of the Honor X80 Pro Max is undoubtedly its battery. The smartphone packs a huge 11,000mAh cell, making it one of the largest batteries seen on a mainstream smartphone so far.

To complement the large battery, Honor has included support for 90W wired fast charging. The handset also supports 27W wired reverse charging, allowing it to power other compatible devices when needed.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NavIC, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS. The phone also comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster and several onboard sensors.
Despite carrying such a large battery, the Honor X80 Pro Max measures 8.08mm in thickness and weighs approximately 203g.
