A year after bringing its Lumiere 4-Door Side-by-Side refrigerator lineup to India, Haier is marking the occasion with a fresh design update. The company has introduced new Rosette White, Pearl White and Mauve Pink colour options for the range, giving consumers more choices at a time when kitchen appliances are increasingly becoming part of the overall home design conversation.

The anniversary is a notable milestone for Haier's premium refrigerator portfolio. Since launching in 2025, the Lumiere series has crossed 50,000 installations across Indian households, signalling growing interest in multi-door refrigeration solutions among buyers looking to move beyond traditional double-door and standard side-by-side models.

To celebrate the first year of the lineup, Haier is also offering a five-year comprehensive warranty on all its 3-door and 4-door Side-by-Side refrigerator models for a limited period.

The Lumiere range has been one of Haier's attempts to bring premium design and technology together in a category that has largely been driven by utility. While storage capacity and cooling performance remain key purchase factors, brands are increasingly finding that aesthetics matter too, especially in modern modular kitchens where appliances are often on display.

That thinking is reflected in the Lumiere lineup, which is available in finishes such as Mirror Glass, Black Glass, Steel and Colourful Steel. The newly introduced Rosette White, Pearl White and Mauve Pink variants further expand the design choices available to consumers.

Beyond appearance, the series also introduced a number of features that Haier says were firsts for the Indian market. These include what the company describes as India's biggest LED backlit panel, designed to improve visibility inside the refrigerator while adding a premium visual element. Select models also feature a colourful digital panel with motion-sensor support, allowing users to interact with the appliance without constantly touching controls.

Another key highlight is the convertible storage system, which enables users to reconfigure compartments depending on their storage needs. The idea is simple: instead of fixed refrigerator and freezer sections, consumers get greater flexibility based on changing food storage requirements throughout the year.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. NS Satish, CEO, Haier Appliances India, said, "At Haier Appliances India, our approach to innovation has always been driven by a deep understanding of evolving consumer lifestyles. The Haier Lumiere 4-Door Side-by-Side refrigerator range was designed to redefine premium refrigeration by bringing together intelligent storage, smart technology and sophisticated design for modern Indian homes. Completing one year with over 50,000 happy customers is a strong validation of this vision and reflects the growing shift towards multi-door, flexible refrigeration solutions in India. To mark this occasion, we are introducing a new anniversary edition in a Satin White Glass finish, further strengthening the design appeal of the Lumiere range. As the market continues to evolve, we remain committed to our 'Made in India, Made for India' philosophy and introducing next-generation appliances that not only meet consumer needs but also shape the future of connected and intelligent living."

The Lumiere portfolio currently includes the HRB-700KGU1, HRB-600MGU1, HRB-600KGU1, HRB-600IS, HRB-600MP, HRB-600PW and HRB-600RW models. Across the lineup, Haier offers both Wi-Fi-enabled and non-Wi-Fi variants, allowing consumers to choose how connected they want their appliance experience to be.

On supported models, smart connectivity features enable remote monitoring and control through smartphones. The refrigerators also include advanced food management features aimed at preserving freshness while helping users make better use of available storage space.

The growing response to the Lumiere range over the past year reflects a broader trend within the Indian appliance market. Consumers are increasingly looking at refrigerators not just as everyday necessities but as long-term lifestyle purchases, with factors such as design, flexibility and smart features becoming as important as capacity and cooling performance. For Haier, the first anniversary of the Lumiere series offers a chance to build on that momentum while further strengthening its position in the premium multi-door refrigerator segment
