Pixel 10a Launched in India: After much anticipation, Google has finally dropped its Pixel 10a in global as well as Indian markets. Pre-orders for the device will be live via e-commerce platforms and the company's dedicated official website and will be available for sale next month. Sporting four colourways, the device has a 5,100 mAh cell for its power resource.

Google Pixel 10a Specs And Features

The latest smartphone by Google runs on Android 16, and the tech giant has promised seven years of OS upgrades and seven years of security patches as well. It has a 6.3-inch Actua pOLED display (1080 x 2424 pixels) with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and for protecting the glass, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and can also give up to 3000 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood the Pixel 10a runs on the company's indigenously made Tensor G4 silicon, but it's the same as there was in last year's version of the 'a' series and is coupled with the M2 security coprocessor. The device comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and for dust and water resistance, the device has an IP68 rating.

In the camera department, the Pixel 10a has a dual rear camera setup and features a 48 MP (f/1.7) primary shooter with a 25 mm focal length, a 1/2.0-inch sensor, and OIS, for an ultra-wide 13-MP shooter with a 120-degree field of view. For selfies, the smartphone is equipped with a 13 MP lens for pictures and videos.

The Google Pixel 10a packs a sizeable 5,100mAh battery, which should comfortably get most users through a full day and then some. It supports 30W wired charging and also offers 10W wireless charging, giving you a bit of flexibility when it comes to topping up.

As far as connectivity is concerned, the phone is well covered there as well and comes with support for 5G and 4G LTE networks, along with Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 6, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Navigation features include GPS along with GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS for more reliable location tracking.

As far as sensors are concerned the handset also comes loaded with sensors like a gyroscope, e-compass, barometer, geomagnetic sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and a fingerprint scanner for secure unlocking. In terms of size and feel, it measures 153.9 x 73 x 9mm and weighs around 183 grams, keeping it fairly manageable for everyday use.
