Flipkart is gearing up for its next big sale, and if you’ve been waiting to pick up a tablet, this might be a good time to start looking. The Flipkart Summer Sale is set to begin on May 9, and like most of these seasonal events, it will bring price cuts across categories like smartphones, laptops, wearables, and home appliances.
But tablets are clearly one of the highlights this time.
What to Expect From the Sale
Flipkart hasn’t revealed every deal yet, but some early offers are already out. As usual, Plus and Black members will get early access 24 hours before the sale opens to everyone else.
On top of the listed discounts, there’s also an extra 10 percent off with SBI credit cards, and yes, that applies to EMI transactions too. So the final prices can drop a bit further depending on how you pay.
Here’s a quick look at the pricing:
| Model | List Price | Effective Sale Price |
|---|---|---|
| Apple iPad Air | Rs. 64,900 | Rs. 61,800 |
| Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ | Rs. 64,999 | Rs. 43,999 |
| Lenovo Legion Tab | Rs. 65,000 | Rs. 27,399 |
| OnePlus Pad Lite | Rs. 19,999 | Rs. 15,899 |
| Redmi Pad 2 Pro | Rs. 32,999 | Rs. 28,849 |
| Oppo Pad 5 | Rs. 29,999 | Rs. 27,849 |
Tablet Deals Worth Watching
If you’re planning to upgrade your current tablet or just want something for streaming, reading, or light work, there’s a decent mix across price segments.
The Apple iPad Air sees a modest drop, while options like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ and Lenovo Legion Tab get much more aggressive cuts, making them far more appealing during the sale window.
You also have more budget-friendly picks like the OnePlus Pad Lite and Redmi Pad 2 Pro, which could hit that sweet spot if you don’t want to spend too much but still want a reliable device.
Should You Wait Or Buy During The Sale
If you’re someone who usually buys gadgets right after launch, this is where sale events can make a difference. Some of these discounts are significant, especially on mid-range and older flagship tablets.
That said, Flipkart is expected to reveal more deals closer to the sale, so it might be worth holding on for a bit before making a final decision.
