Dell has added more laptops to its existing range in America through the introduction of the Alienware 15 gaming laptop along with two other devices – Dell 14S and 16S. Although it is evident that the Alienware laptop is designed for gamers who want powerful RTX graphics and fast gaming refresh rates, the 14S and 16S models have been designed for slim and AI-equipped laptops that can be used on a daily basis.

There is no news yet about when these laptops will come to India.

Alienware 15 Focuses On Gaming Performance And Cooling

The new Alienware 15 comes with a 15.3-inch WUXGA display that supports a 165Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync support. Dell is offering both AMD and Intel processor options, including AMD Ryzen 5 220 and Ryzen 7 260 chips, alongside Intel Core 5 210H and Core 7 240H processors.

On the graphics side, buyers can configure the laptop with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050, RTX 4050, RTX 5050, or RTX 5060 laptop GPUs. The higher-end RTX 5050 and RTX 5060 versions also get GDDR7 memory and additional cooling support through Dell’s Cryo-Chamber airflow design.

Dell says the laptop uses its Alienware Cryo-Tech thermal setup, which includes dual fans, copper heat pipes, and a rear exhaust vent to manage temperatures during gaming sessions. There’s also an F7 Stealth Mode shortcut that quickly shifts the laptop into a quieter operating mode when needed.

The laptop supports up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. Both memory and storage are user upgradeable, which is something many gamers still look for in gaming laptops.

Dell has also included Alienware Command Center 6 software that lets users tweak performance settings, RGB lighting, and gaming profiles from one place.

In terms of design, the Alienware 15 uses a polycarbonate resin body, opens fully up to 180 degrees, and weighs up to 2.25kg. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C ports with DisplayPort support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Ethernet, and USB-C charging support up to 100W on supported ports.

The Alienware 15 starts at $1,299 (roughly Rs. 1.24 lakh) for AMD variants, while Intel-powered models begin at $1,349 (roughly Rs. 1.29 lakh).

Dell 14S And Dell 16S Bring AI Features And OLED Display Options

Alongside the gaming-focused launch, Dell also introduced the new Dell 14S and Dell 16S laptops. These machines focus more on portability, AI-powered features, and battery efficiency instead of raw gaming performance.

The laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and go up to the Intel Core Ultra 9 386H chipset. Dell says these chips include dedicated NPUs capable of handling AI workloads up to 50 TOPS.

Depending on the configuration, users can choose between FHD+, QHD+, or OLED display panels. The 16-inch model also gets an optional 2.8K OLED touchscreen variant.

Dell is heavily pushing AI-based experiences on these laptops. Both systems support Copilot features in Windows and include dedicated keyboard shortcuts for quick access to AI tools, dictation, screenshots, and microphone controls. The laptops also feature AI-enhanced webcams with auto-framing and noise reduction for video calls.

The company claims the Dell 14S can deliver up to 24 hours of productivity usage and up to 18 hours of video streaming. Meanwhile, the Dell 16S is rated for up to 14 hours of productivity and as much as 26 hours of streaming playback.
