Asus has expanded its laptop portfolio at Computex 2026 with the launch of two very different machines. While the new Asus TUF 16 (2026) is aimed at gamers looking for powerful hardware without stepping into the premium ROG lineup, the Asus ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 (2026) targets professionals who want a lightweight business laptop with flexible usability.

The company, however, is yet to announce the pricing and availability details for both models.

Asus TUF 16 (2026) Focuses On Gaming Performance

The Asus TUF 16 (2026) arrives as the latest addition to the company’s mid-range gaming series. Under the hood, the laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor that combines eight performance cores and eight efficiency cores, with boost clock speeds reaching up to 5.2GHz.

For graphics, Asus is offering up to Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 GPU with an 85W Total Graphics Power (TGP). The laptop also supports real-time ray tracing and DLSS 4 frame generation, features that are becoming increasingly important for modern AAA gaming titles.

Asus has also focused heavily on cooling this time. The TUF 16 (2026) uses a dual 80-blade fan setup paired with three heat pipes, which the company claims can keep fan noise below 40dB even in Turbo Mode. The machine also comes with two RAM slots and dual SSD slots for future upgrades.

Built For Long Gaming Sessions

The gaming laptop can be configured with up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. Asus has also added a full-sized backlit keyboard with a dedicated numeric keypad, something many gamers and creators still prefer.

On the design side, the laptop features a 180-degree hinge and carries MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification. Connectivity options include multiple HDMI ports, an RJ45 Ethernet port, three USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort 2 support, and a dedicated charging port.

The ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 can be configured with up to 32GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and stylus input.
