Apple iPhone 17e Launched In India With A19 Chip, MagSafe And Ceramic Shield 2: Price, Full Specifications

The most affordable model in the iPhone 17 series, Apple has launched the iPhone 17e in India and global markets. If the Pro line will soon be missing, then we are met with you; its successor, last year’s iPhone 16e, features a few important updates: a new A19 chip, MagSafe support and Ceramic Shield 2 protection. In addition to keeping the familiar 6.1-inch OLED, notch and single rear camera, Apple has doubled the base storage to 256GB, making it a more enticing brand-name entry-level flagship choice.

iPhone 17e Price in India, Launch Offers

Apple iPhone 17e price in India is:

- Rs. 64,900 for the 256GB model

- Rs. 84,900 for the 512GB model

The phone comes in Black, Soft Pink, and White colour choices. It is available for pre-orders now and will be up for sale from March 11 onwards on Apple’s website as well as select authorised retailers in India.

Display and Design

It has a 6.1″ Super Retina XDR (1,170×2,532 pixels) OLED display capable of a 60Hz refresh rate, True Tone support and up to 800 nits peak brightness. In terms of protection, Apple has implemented Ceramic Shield 2, which the company says is "up to 3x more scratch resistant" than the glass on the iPhone 16e.

It keeps an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, as well as the Action Button.

Performance and Software

It’s powered by Apple’s latest A19 chip with a 6-core CPU, 4-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. It is accompanied by 8GB of RAM and runs on iOS 26. It also supports Apple Intelligence features.

Camera Capabilities

There’s a 48-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilisation on the iPhone 17e. This supports 24MP and 48MP stills capture as well as “optical quality” 2x zoom via in-sensor crop. It packs a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera with an f/1.9 aperture on the front. Action Mode and Cinematic Video, for example, are limited to the pricier iPhone 17 models.

Battery and Connectivity

Apple promises up to 26 hours of video playback on one charge. The phone also offers 20W wired charging and 15W MagSafe wireless charging. Connectivity features such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS with support for GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and NavIC are available on the Realme GT2 Pro. The device has dimensions of 146.7×71.5×7.8mm and weighs around 169g.
