Android 17 Beta 1: Rollout Details
According to a Reddit post, the Android Beta Team announced that the first beta build of the Android 17 Platform Release would be available soon for qualifying devices in the beta programme.
Android 17 Beta 1 is rolling out as an automatic over-the-air (OTA) to those users who’ve enrolled their Pixel in the beta program. Why Beta Programmes Matter
Android beta programmes are a way for users to try pre-release software and offer feedback. This allows Google to refine the software ahead of a broader public release.
