Amazon is gearing up for its biggest shopping event of the year in India. Prime Day 2026 is officially locked in for July, and like always, it’s going to be exclusive to Prime members.
This marks the tenth edition of Prime Day in India, and Amazon seems to be doubling down on both deals and delivery speed this time around.

What To Expect From Prime Day 2026
If you’ve followed previous editions, the core idea remains the same but with more scale. Expect fresh product launches, limited-time deals, and category-wide discounts across electronics, kitchen essentials, fashion, beauty, and even groceries.
Amazon is also expected to continue its partnerships with banks, meaning additional instant discounts on card payments will likely be part of the mix again.
Delivery Gets A Major Push
One of the bigger highlights this year is logistics. Amazon is leaning heavily on faster delivery promises during the sale.
Through its quick commerce service, Amazon Now, the company will offer rapid deliveries in select cities. On top of that, Prime members can expect same-day delivery on over 10 lakh products, next-day delivery on more than 40 lakh items, and even four-hour delivery on a smaller set of products.
Free delivery continues to be a core perk, with members getting it on orders starting at Rs. 99. There’s also a cashback angle, with up to Rs. 200 back on purchases above Rs. 1,399.
Prime Benefits Stay Intact
The sale is, of course, locked behind a Prime membership. Users shopping with the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card will also get five percent cashback, which remains one of the more consistent benefits tied to the ecosystem.
As for pricing, Prime membership continues with multiple tiers, monthly, quarterly, and annual plans, along with Lite and Shopping Edition options for users who want more flexibility.
Not Just An India Play
While India will get the sale in July, Amazon is rolling out Prime Day globally as well. Countries like Australia, Brazil, and Japan will also see the event in the same month. Meanwhile, regions including the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany will get it earlier in June.

The Bigger Picture
Prime Day has always been more than just a sale for Amazon. It’s a way to lock users deeper into its ecosystem while pushing services like fast delivery and digital payments.
With faster shipping, wider deals, and deeper bank tie-ups, Prime Day 2026 looks less like a routine sale and more like a full-scale push to dominate India’s online shopping momentum.
