Australia will get the device in the fourth quarter of 2026. However, the company has not yet shared pricing details or confirmed an India launch.
Acer Predator Helios 18 AI (2026): What’s New?
Predator Helios 18 AI (2026) offers an incredible 18-inch 4K Mini LED screen that seems to be designed specifically for those gamers or professionals that not only need excellent performance but great images. The monitor features high refresh rate support with 240Hz and max luminance level of 1,000 nits. Acer has also included Nvidia G-Sync, Advanced Optimus support, HDR mode, and full DCI-P3 colour coverage for a more immersive viewing experience.
The display is also Calman verified, which means it is tuned for colour accuracy out of the box.
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor paired with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU featuring 24GB of GDDR7 VRAM. Acer is clearly targeting serious gamers, AI workloads, and professional creators with this hardware combination.
The laptop can be configured with up to 256GB DDR5 RAM and offers three PCIe Gen 5 NVMe SSD slots with support for up to 6TB of internal storage.
Cooling has also received a major focus. Acer says the Predator Helios 18 AI uses dual sixth-generation AeroBlade 3D fans, vector heat pipes, and liquid metal thermal grease to handle sustained high-performance workloads.
Big Audio Setup And Plenty Of Ports
Apart from performance, Acer has also upgraded the multimedia experience. The laptop features a six-speaker setup with Predator Vox technology and DTS:X Ultra support for enhanced audio output. There’s also an RGB backlit keyboard for gamers who prefer a more customisable setup.
On the connectivity side, the Predator Helios 18 AI includes two Thunderbolt 5 ports, multiple USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, an SD card reader, RJ-45 Ethernet, a 3.5mm audio jack, and even a Kensington Lock slot.
For wireless connectivity, the laptop supports Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Acer has packed a 99Wh battery inside the machine, while video calls are handled through a Full-HD IR webcam.
Despite its slim profile for a gaming machine, the laptop still weighs around 3.5kg, making it more of a desktop replacement than a portable everyday device.
The Predator Helios 18 AI (2026) will be available with both Windows 11 Home and Windows 11 Pro options depending on the configuration.
