Veggie And Bean Burger For A Fibre Boost
Here is a step-by-step guide to make a healthy burger recipe, which is apt to satisfy your evening cravings without guilt:
Ingredients (Serves 2)
For the Patty:
- 1 cup of boiled chickpeas or rajma.
- ½ cup grated paneer/tufa
- ½ cup oats powder
- ¼ cup grated carrot
- ¼ cup chopped spinach
- 1 tablespoon chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- Handfuls of mint leaves, black pepper and chilli flakes to add taste
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
For Burger:
- 1 pack whole wheat burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Slice the tomato, cucumber and onion.
- Homemade hung curd mint dip

Step-By-Step Recipe To Make Healthy Burger Recipe At Home:
- Step 1: Peel and then roughly mash the chickpeas. Mix them into the paneer, oats, your favourite chopped vegetables and the seasonings to make a filling-like consistency.
- Step 2: Shape this filling into patties.
- Step 3: Take a non-stick skillet pan, heat olive oil and then fry these patties on medium flame until they turn golden brown on both sides.
- Step 4: Toast the whole wheat buns a little. Next, spread the hung curd yoghurt, and layer with lettuce, the cooked patty, tomato slices, cucumber slices, and onion slices.
- Step 5: Now, take a top bun, and again spread a hung curd yoghurt dip and place it over the fillings.
- Step 6: Voila, your healthy burger is ready. Serve it with roasted sweet potato wedges (or a fresh salad) right alongside on the plate, not fries, for a more balanced meal.
