- Modi cabinet reshuffle likely to bring new faces from Madhya Pradesh.
- Discussions on caste, regional balance for MP ministerial roles.
- VD Sharma may get major organizational or ministerial position.
State Bureau, Bhopal | The next few days are crucial the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and national politics. A potential reshuffle in the Modi cabinet could bring about significant changes in Madhya Pradesh politics as well. There is a strong possibility that a new face from Madhya Pradesh will find a place in the Union Cabinet reshuffle.
These Leaders May Be Inducted Into Cabinet From MP
Meanwhile, keeping in mind caste dynamics, regional balance, and the upcoming state elections, the names of several prominent faces from Madhya Pradesh are being discussed at the organisational level. Due to the low performance of Union Ministers Savitri Thakur and Dr Virendra Kumar, Himadri Singh from the ST category and Sandhya Rai from the SC category may replace them at the Centre.

According to party sources, Dr Virendra Kumar could be appointed as a Governor. The name of Satna MP Ganesh Singh, who belongs to the OBC category, is also being discussed.
VD Sharma May Get A Major Responsibility
Similarly, it is believed that Vishnu Dutt Sharma, who has been elected MP from Khajuraho for the second consecutive term, may be given a major organisational role (National General Secretary) or a ministerial position at the Centre. He served as the BJP's state president for a long time. His background in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), ABVP and a strong hold on the organisation made him a top aspirant.

The MP Organisation May Also Be Impacted
The change in the state's representation at the Centre will have a direct impact on the ministry and the state BJP organisation. Through this reshuffle, the BJP aims to give the next generation of leaders in Madhya Pradesh administrative experience at the national level.
Prominent leaders from Madhya Pradesh like Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Jyotiraditya Scindia, and Dr Virendra Kumar are already in the Modi cabinet. With the formation of a new BJP national team under the leadership of Nitin Nabin, speculation is rife that this potential reshuffle in the Modi cabinet could bring more prominent figures from Madhya Pradesh from active state politics to Delhi and give them important responsibilities such as National General Secretary or National Vice President in the party.
