West Bengal Assembly Election 2026 Date: The West Bengal Assembly Election 2026 will be held in two phases. Voting for 152 constituencies will take place in the first phase on April 23, while for the second phase, polling will be held on April 29, covering the remaining 142 constituencies, including Kolkata. The results for all 294 seats are scheduled to be declared on May 4.

Phase I - 152 Seats
In the first phase, voting will be held in 152 assembly constituencies across 16 districts, including Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Uttar Dinapur, Dakshin Dinapur, Malda, Murshidabad, Birbhum, Paschim Bardhaman, Bankura, Purulia, Paschim Medinipur, Purab Medinipur and Jhargram.

- Date of Counting: May 4 (Monday)
Phase II - 142 Seats
In the second phase, voting will take place in the remaining 142 assembly constituencies across seven districts, including North 24 Parganas, South Parganas, Howrah, Hooghly, Kolkata, Nadia and Purba Bardhaman.
