Weather Update: Heavy Showers To Hit Maharashtra, Gujarat And Northeast; Light Drizzles Likely In Delhi-NCR | Forecast

Delhi residents are likely to experience light drizzles accompanied by cloudy weather. The maximum temperature is expected to be 34.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature can drop to 27.3 degrees Celsius. During the past 24 hours, parts of Delhi witnessed very light to moderate rainfall. Noida will comparatively witness colder weather, with maximum temperatures going up to 32 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature will plunge to 26 degrees Celsius.

State-Wise Weather Forecast

Maharashtra Weather: Parts of Maharashtra have been receiving heavy to very heavy rainfall for the past few days. The weather department has issued a flash flood warning for areas such as Mumbai City, Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg in Konkan & Goa; and Ahilyanagar, Dhule, Jalgaon, Kolhapur, Nandurbar, Nashik, Pune, and Satara in Madhya Maharashtra.

Gujarat Weather:Parts of Gujarat are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall for the next four days. Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in some areas during the period.

Thunderstorms with lightning may accompany rainfall at times. Areas in Saurashtra and Kutch may receive comparatively heavy rainfall. 

Madhya Pradesh Weather: Rain was recorded at most places in the Ujjain division, many places in the Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, and Rewa divisions, and a few places in the Narmadapuram, Chambal, Jabalpur, Shahdol, and Sagar divisions. Thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds ranging between 30 and 40 km/h in parts of MP. Bhopal is likely to experience a cloudy sky with the possibility of thunderstorms, lightning, and light rain. Wind speed is expected at 16–18 km/h, with temperatures around 29 degrees Celsius (max) and 24 degrees Celsius (min).

Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand Weather: Heavy rainfall is expected to continue over the coming days, with isolated very heavy rainfall likely from July 27 onwards. The IMD has advised residents to remain alert in landslide-prone and low-lying areas.

Assam, Meghalaya, and Northeast Weather:Heavy rainfall is likely across Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura over the next several days. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are also expected across much of the Northeast.

Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana Weather: Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are likely over Tamil Nadu and Interior Karnataka, while Telangana may witness thunderstorms and strong surface winds. Coastal Karnataka is also expected to receive heavy rainfall.

Bihar and West Bengal Weather: Heavy rainfall is likely over Bihar, while Gangetic West Bengal may witness heavy showers accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds. Rain activity is expected to remain active for the next few days.
