UP Weather Alert: Heavy Rain To Lash State; Thunderstorm And Lightning Warning Issued | Check Forecast

Rain has continued in many parts of Uttar Pradesh over the past few days. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for the coming days, predicting heavy rainfall in several parts of the state. The possibility of thunderstorms and lightning has also been forecast in many places.

Heavy rain has been reported from the eastern parts of the state in the last 24 hours. In some parts of the other regions, light rainfall was witnessed. A rain warning has also been issued for the coming days.

The Meteorological Department said many parts of the state may see rainfall in the next few days and has also sounded a lightning alert in several districts.

Eastern Uttar Pradesh: The region would receive heavy rainfall at several places over the next four to five days. There would be intermittent rainfall at several places from July 12 to July 16.

Western Uttar Pradesh: Rain will continue in the region in the coming days. According to the meteorological department, rain has been forecast in some districts of this region from July 12 to July 18 with moderate to light showers.

Thunderstorm And Strong Wind Warning

Thunderstorm with strong wind is expected in several areas of the state. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and lightning in a few places. People have been alerted about the areas of waterlogging and asked to avoid the risk from old structures during these days.
