UP SIR Final Voter List: With less than a year remaining in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election, the Election Commission on Friday released the final electoral rolls following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. As per the data provided by the poll body, the voters in Uttar Pradesh grew by over 84 lakh to 13.39 crore after the completion of the revision process. The Election Commission stated that the updated electoral roll is available on the official voter services portal, adding that the residents can check whether they are eligible to vote.
UP SIR Final Voter List: How To Check Your Name?
- Visit the website of the Election Commission of India (ECI)
- "Search in Electoral Roll"- click on this option
- Choose a method to search your name
- Name can be searched by EPIC number, Mobile Number, and Personal Details (Name, DOB, District, etc.)
- Enter the required details carefully for accuracy
- Enter the captcha code
- Your name will appear if it's included in the final voter list
How To Download The Voter List PDF
- Visit the website of the Election Commission of India (ECI)
- Select the name of the state- Uttar Pradesh
- Choose district name and assembly constituency
- Select "SIR Final Roll 2026"
- Download the PDF for future reference
If Name Is Missing Or Incorrect
- Visit the voter services portal of the EC
- Click on "Voter Registration/Correction"
- Select Form 6 if your name is missing
- Fill the details carefully
The revision process has led to a political drama across the country, with several opposition leaders, including Tejashwi Yadav and Mamata Banerjee, accusing the poll body of helping the BJP. However, the Election Commission has stated that the process was legal and as per the provisions of the constitution. The assembly election in Uttar Pradesh is set to be conducted in the early months of 2027.
