Summer Special Trains: In a bid to ease passenger rush during the summer holiday season, Indian Railways has announced to operate several special trains. According to a Jagran.com report, this move includes the introduction of three key pairs of services: New Delhi to Supaul, Anand Vihar to Jogbani, and Saharsa to Yeshwantpur via Barauni Junction.
New Delhi-Supaul Special: Check Route, Timing, Stops
According to the schedule released by Indian Railways, Train No. 04072/04071 New Delhi-Supaul-New Delhi Special will run via Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ballia, Hajipur, and Barauni.

Train No 04072 New Delhi-Supaul Special is scheduled to depart New Delhi daily at 09:35 PM from April 17 to July 15, 2025 (except May 21 to 25). The train will reach Hajipur at 09:05 PM the following day and Shahpur Patori at 10:10 PM. On the third day of its journey, it will arrive at Barauni at 12:35 AM, Begusarai at 01:03 AM, Khagaria at 02:18 AM, Mansi at 02:40 AM, Bakhtiyarpur at 03:10 AM, and Saharsa at 03:45 AM, arriving in Supaul at 06:35 AM.
In the return direction, Train No. 04071 Supaul-New Delhi Special is scheduled to depart Supaul daily at 7:45 AM from April 19 to July 17, 2025 (except May 23 to 27). During its journey, the train will stop at Saharsa at 9:35 AM, Bakhtiyarpur at 10:08 AM, Mansi at 10:53 AM, Khagaria at 11:05 AM, and Begusarai at 11:38 AM. It will arrive at Barauni at 12:20 PM, Shahpur Patori at 1:30 PM, and Hajipur at 2:50 PM, before arriving in New Delhi at 3:00 AM the following morning.
Anand Vihar-Jogbani Special: Check Details
Train No. 04008/04007 Anand Vihar-Jogbani-Anand Vihar Special will run via Moradabad, Gorakhpur, Hajipur, Barauni, and Katihar.
Train No. 04008 Anand Vihar-Jogbani Special is scheduled to depart Anand Vihar at 08:30 AM every Saturday from April 18 to July 11 (except May 23). The train is scheduled to reach Hajipur at 12:30 AM the next day, via Shahpur Patori at 03:45 AM, Barauni at 04:45 AM, and Begusarai at 05:18 AM. The train will reach Khagaria at 05:53 AM, Mansi at 06:05 AM, Navgachhiya at 07:10 AM, Katihar at 10:50 AM, Purnia at 12:18 PM, Araria Court at 01:13 PM, and Forbesganj at 01:48 PM, before arriving in Jogbani at 03:00 PM.

In the return direction, Train No. 04007 Jogbani-Anand Vihar Special will depart Jogbani at 06:30 AM every Sunday from April 19 to July 12, 2025 (except May 24). The train will stop at Forbesganj at 07:03 AM, Araria Court at 07:43 AM, Purnia at 08:48 AM, Katihar at 09:50 AM, Navgachhiya at 10:45 AM, Mansi at 12:13 PM, Khagaria at 12:25 PM, Begusarai at 1:00 PM, Barauni at 02:30 PM, Shahpur Patori at 03:30 PM and Hajipur at 04:55 PM, arriving in Anand Vihar at 3:00 AM on the third day of the journey.
Saharsa-Yeshwantpur Special: Check Route And Timings
Train No. 05551/05552 Saharsa-Yeshwantpur-Saharsa Special will run via New Barauni Junction, Asansol, Bhubaneswar, and Visakhapatnam to ease passenger rush during the summer holiday season.
Train No. 05551 Saharsa-Yeshwantpur Special is scheduled to depart Saharsa every Thursday at 8:25 PM on April 16, 23, and 30, 2025. The train will reach Simri Bakhtiyarpur at 08:43 PM, Mansi at 10:23 PM, Khagaria at 10:43 PM, Begusarai at 11:38 PM, New Barauni Jn. at 12:15 AM, continuing to Kiul at 2:30 AM and Jhajha at 3:25 AM, reaching Yeshwantpur at 10:30 PM on Saturday.
In the return direction, Train No. 05552 Yeshwantpur-Saharsa Special will depart Yeshwantpur every Sunday at 7:00 AM on April 19, 26, and May 3, 2025. The train will stop at key stations, including Jhajha at 4:00 AM, Kiul at 4:50 AM, New Barauni Jn. at 6:25 AM, Begusarai at 6:58 AM, Khagaria at 7:40 AM, Mansi at 8:13 AM, and Simri Bakhtiyarpur at 9:00 AM, before arriving in Saharsa at 11:00 AM on Tuesday.
