Shravani Mela: In a major update for the flight passengers, evening flights between Delhi and Jharkhand's Deoghar will resume today amid the ongoing Shravani Mela. The devotees are travelling in large numbers to Deoghar to participate in the auspicious festival, leading to a rush in the road and rail services. A direct flight service between the two cities is likely to benefit the passengers of Delhi-NCR and the western districts of Uttar Pradesh.

Services To Benefit Passengers Of Delhi-NCR

Along with the train and bus facilities, the launch of the evening flight will provide additional travel options for passengers arriving from the capital city and nearby regions. A large number of devotees from all parts of the country visit Deoghar to pray at Baba Baidyanath during the month of Sawan.

The resumption of flight service will provide relief to the passengers by significantly cutting the travel time and reducing their dependence on road and rail services. Apart from this, passenger traffic at Deoghar Airport is expected to significantly increase with the resumption of flight services.

Check Timings 

As per the reports, the Delhi-Deoghar evening flight will begin operating from Deoghar Airport today. The direct flight service will provide significant relief for devotees visiting Deoghar for the Shravani Mela. As per the earlier schedule, the flight will depart from Delhi at 7:25 pm and arrive in Deoghar at 7:55 pm.

While the flight services were discontinued earlier in June due to several factors, they have been restored to manage the crowd. This special service for a full month has been implemented in view of the fair. The reports also suggest that the flights to Guwahati are also scheduled to begin on August 4.

Apart from this, the railways have also recently announced several special trains to Deoghar from various parts of the country to provide conveniences to the devotees. These services are especially likely to benefit the passengers of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.
