Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray on Monday targeted the rebel MPs, alleging that they openly sold their loyalty and credibility for political power. The comment comes amid an internal rift and an ongoing "Operation Tiger" controversy in Maharashtra politics. UBT’s six dissident Lok Sabha MPs are set to switch sides and join Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena at a press conference scheduled for 3 pm today at the YB Chavan Centre in Mumbai. On Sunday, two of six MPs confirmed their merger.

Questions Raised On Loyalty Of Rebel UBT MPs
Aditya Thackeray, in a post on the social media platform X, slammed the rebel MPs. He wrote “To the greedy MPs who have hopped over, you only prove the following, stronger than before: 1) Your loyalty, your reputation is for sale, shamelessly 2) The government is biased and uses public money, politically, as funds”
“All of the ones that are jumping over now were elected on the platforms of the MVA and the INDIA, against the NDA,” he added.
Aditya Thackeray also reminded the rebel MPs how they won the elections. He wrote that all of these MPs won the elections on the strength of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and INDIA alliance against the NDA. During the elections, they personally pleaded with leaders of the Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress, and NCP (Sharad Pawar) to hold rallies for them.
Aditya Thackeray also reminded them that giving up everything overnight due to greed is simply selfishness.
