Shiv Sena (UBT) Split Buzz: Amid the reports suggesting a split in the Shiv Sena (UBT) Lok Sabha MPs, party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut slammed the rebels in a press conference. While addressing the issue, Raut alleged that a huge amount of money was being offered to the parliamentarians to switch sides, further alleging that an advance amount had already been deposited. He further stated that all the MPs won under the leadership of party chief Uddhav Thackeray, further asking the rebels to resign if they intend to switch sides.
"Those who wish to resign should do so. Some took an oath in the name of Sai Baba, while others took an oath in the name of their mothers. The public will not remain silent. We will not spare the rebel MPs; Shiv Sena is our mother," Raut said in the press conference.
