Some of the MPs also switched on torches on their mobile phones at the Gandhi Smriti.

Police had put up barricades on the Sunehri Bagh Road to stop the large number of Congress and Youth Congress workers from moving towards Tees January Marg, where the Congress and other leaders were headed from Rahul's residence.

A bus carrying the opposition MPs reached Gandhi Smriti in New Delhi, where a large crowd of NSUI members welcomed them and raised slogans against the government.

Ahead of the opposition's march to Gandhi Smriti, the Delhi police put heavy barricading outside Rahul Gandhi's residence. In an X post, following the INDIA bloc meeting at his residence, Rahul Gandhi said that the opposition stands with the students injured in the police action on July 20.
