Jagran Team, Punjab: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday transferred three months' worth of financial assistance directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries under the 'Mukh Mantri Mawan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana'. Women in the general category received a three-month total of Rs 3,000 (at Rs 1,000 per month), while those in the SC category received Rs 4,500 (at Rs 1,500 per month).

Mawan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana: An Overview

The Punjab government's Mukh Mantri Mawan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana is a financial assistance initiative aimed at empowering women across the state. Under the scheme, eligible women from the general category receive Rs 1,000 per month, while those from Scheduled Caste (SC) communities receive Rs 1,500 per month.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Women aged 18 years and above.

- Must be a permanent resident of Punjab.

- Must hold a bank account linked to Aadhaar.

Required Documents:

- Punjab Identification Details, such as Aadhaar Card and Voter ID Card

- Aadhaar-Linked Bank Account Details

- Passport-size photograph

- Caste Certificate (mandatory for women from SC category)

How To Apply:

Step 1: Visit your nearest Anganwadi Centre or Common Service Centre (CSC).
