Pune-Danapur Amrit Bharat Express: In a significant step towards strengthening rail connectivity between Central India and Bihar, Railways is set to launch Pune-Danapur Amrit Bharat Express on Wednesday. The railway minister, Ashwini Vaishnav, will flag off the train from Hadapsar railway station in Maharashtra. The officials, while providing details, stated that this train will provide direct and affordable connectivity from Maharashtra to Jharkhand, eastern Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.

The 11431 Pune-Danapur Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Pune every Saturday at 3:30 PM and arrive in Danapur, Bihar, at 01:30 AM on Mondays. In its return journey, the 11432 Danapur-Pune Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Danapur every Monday at 3:30 AM and arrive in Pune at 11:05 AM on Tuesdays.

The new Amrit Bharat Express will provide convenience to passengers from Jabalpur and the Mahakaushal region by connecting directly to Pune, Maharashtra, and major cities in Bihar. The train will pass through Jabalpur station and travel to Katni, Maihar, Satna, Prayagraj, and Danapur. Along with providing the direct connectivity, the train is also likely to boost the financial activities in the region.

As per the reports, the train will operate with 18 modern LHB Amrit Bharat coaches. The LHB coaches are considered safer, more comfortable, and have better speed capabilities than conventional coaches. The authorities have assured that several new trains are being planned to improve connectivity between the central and the eastern regions of the country.
