What is Project-75I, and how is it beneficial?

The most significant feature of these submarines is their "Air Independent Propulsion" system. AIP is a technology that allows submarines to operate underwater for weeks without the use of air, while conventional (diesel-electric) submarines must surface every 1-2 days.
These submarines will be equipped with modern torpedoes and anti-ship cruise missiles like the BrahMos, enabling them to accurately strike enemy ships and land targets. They will help counter the Chinese threat in the Indian Ocean. The Indian Navy's fleet of six new submarines built with this technology will strengthen the Navy.
