The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and Special Task Force (STF) arrested four terrorists from Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur on Wednesday. The four terrorists were preparing a sleeper cell for Pakistani gangsters Shahzad Bhatti and Abid Jat. They were given the target of bombing schools and hospitals in Lucknow, Noida, Ghaziabad and other cities, jagran.com reported.

The terrorists had conducted recce of several schools and hospitals. They also held a meeting in Noida to provide weapons and explosives.

ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash stated that Pakistani gangster Shahzad Bhatti had recruited the four terrorists through the internet media platforms Instagram and YouTube. They were also given the target of bombing a political party office. A case has been registered against them at the ATS police station for conspiring against the country and action is being taken.

Names Of Arrested Terrorists

-22-year-old Mehkab, son of Hasrat, resident of Dhikka Kala, Saharanpur.

-20-year-old Shahrukh, son of Ikram, resident of Dhikka Kala, Saharanpur.

-25-year-old Gagandeep Singh alias Gury Singh, son of Harjeet Singh, resident of Shahpur, Muzaffarnagar.

-22-year-old Musharraf, son of Mubarik, resident of Dhandhera, Haridwar.

According to ATS sources cited by jagran,com, arrested terrorist Gagandeep Singh, alias Guri Singh, revealed that he and Mehkab met a few days ago in Noida. They discussed arranging funds to purchase explosives and weapons to bomb schools and hospitals.

The Pakistani gangsters had previously given them a target to carry out an attack and promised to provide them with funds after the execution. The terrorists also revealed that the Pakistani gangsters had targeted a man who ran several schools, but they have not yet revealed the name of the individual involved.
