Delhi-Noida Airports RRTS: The journey from Delhi to Noida International Airport will soon be reduced to 21 minutes as the state government has approved the DPR (Detailed Project Report) for the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project connecting Delhi to Noida Airport and sent it to the Union Ministry of Urban Affairs.

The DPR also includes a provision to connect the Delhi-Varanasi high-speed rail line with a station at the Noida airport terminal. The Railway Ministry is also preparing a DPR for the construction of the Chola-Sandhi rail line to connect the Yamuna Authority's industrial sector and the airport.

Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi gave the information

While reviewing the works of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) at Pickup Bhawan on Thursday, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi said that along with Yamuna Expressway and Agra-Lucknow Expressway, work is being done rapidly on the connectivity of other expressways of the state like Bundelkhand Expressway, Purvanchal Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Ganga Expressway.

He said that with the opening of Noida Airport, the entire region is now poised to become a cargo hub. Consequently, the responsibility of all YEIDA officials and employees has increased. He directed that land acquisition payments to farmers be made online and in a fast mode to minimize the distance from Delhi to Noida Airport.

Master plan to build an urban city in Hathras

During the review meeting, officials informed that a master plan is being developed to develop an urban city on 4,700 acres in Tappal Bajna, Hathras. After Hathras, the Yamuna Expressway will be extended to Agra. The minister also informed that North India's largest semiconductor chip manufacturing unit, HCL-Foxconn, is being established in the Yamuna Authority area.

Additionally, the largest electronics manufacturing cluster is being built. Minister Nandi stated that the development of Apparel Park, Medical Device Park, Tie Park, MSME Park, Handloom Park, Data Park, etc. in the Yamuna Authority area has boosted industrialisation.
