Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Hours after a firing incident in Mumbai's Juhu area, involving Bollywood star Tiger Shroff, the Mumbai Police have launched an investigation. After the attack, Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, two members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, are now under the scanner.

The Mumbai Police have formed 15 teams to investigate the shooting. According to the latest update, the police have recorded the statement of Tiger Shroff’s driver, Firdous, who sustained a gunshot wound to his left hand. The Mumbai Police and the Mumbai Crime Branch are jointly investigating the incident.

The incident took place on Sunday evening in Mumbai’s Juhu area, when unidentified assailants allegedly opened fire at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car. Shortly after the incident, Anil Pandit, a gangster reportedly based in the United States, claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly claimed responsibility for the attack, with Anil Pandit stating that he and his associate Harman Sandhu were behind the shooting.

In an audio clip reportedly received by security agencies, Pandit named his associate, Harman Sandhu, and issued a direct threat to the entire Bollywood film industry. He demanded that actor Salman Khan issue a public apology to Lawrence Bishnoi and the Bishnoi community.

Pandit claimed that Tiger Shroff had been warned previously but had ignored the warning. He further threatened that anyone working with Salman Khan would be targeted, describing the statement as his first and final warning.

Both Pandit and Sandhu have been accused of planning attacks in Delhi and Punjab. In a recent case reported in June 2026, alleged gang members reportedly opened fire at a gym in West Delhi.

Following the incident, Pandit allegedly stated in a social media post that the shooting had been carried out by “Anil Pandit USA and his associate Harman Sandhu.” He reportedly cited the gym owner’s alleged “growing closeness” to Salman Khan as the motive behind the attack.

Who Is Anil Pandit?

Anil Pandit hails from Panipat, Haryana. According to reports, he was not involved in any major criminal activities while living in India, and no cases had been registered against him during that period. Reports further suggest that he reached the United States in 2024 through the so-called “donkey route,” an irregular method of migration.

After arriving in the United States, Pandit reportedly established links with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and took over from an older gang member, Randeep Malik, around eight months ago. Although he allegedly issues threats in Lawrence Bishnoi’s name, reports claim that he does not receive instructions directly from Bishnoi.

His primary handler is reportedly Hari Chand Jat, alias Harry Boxer, who has been operating from the United States since 2022. Multiple cases involving extortion and attempted murder have reportedly been registered against him in India.

However, this is not the first time that such big personalities or actos associated with the film industry have been targeted. Earlier, on June 11, two unidentified men riding a motorcycle allegedly opened fire outside Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa’s gym in Paschim Vihar, West Delhi. Police reportedly recovered seven empty cartridges from the scene.

Similarly, on February 1, shots were fired outside the Mumbai residence of film director Rohit Shetty. Following the incident, threats were also reportedly sent to actor Ranveer Singh and Aayush Sharma, a relative of Salman Khan.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been named in connection with all these cases. The police are now investigating Anil Pandit’s alleged role in the shooting targeting Tiger Shroff’s car.

Photographs taken at Tiger Shroff’s residence reportedly showed the actor with dressings on his shoulder and chest and a bandage on his right arm as he interacted with Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Tiger’s mother, Ayesha Shroff, was also present during the meeting.
