Rajasthan Municipal Election Results 2026 Winners List: Trends have started converting into results across urban local bodies in Rajasthan. The BJP has taken a significant leap in the polls. The results are being declared across 309 local bodies, including 10 municipal corporations, 51 municipal councils and 248 municipalities. There were 38,889 candidates in the fray. 

The polls were held in two phases, with a voter turnout of 76.42 per cent in the first one on September 9 and 70.68 per cent in the second phase on September 11. The counting of votes across all centres started at 8 AM. BJP has so far won a clear majority in Jaipur, Bhilwara, Kota and Udaipur, while Congress has won Bikaner and Pali.

In Alwar, the BJP emerged as the single-largest party with 28 out of 65 seats but failed to achieve a clear majority. Similarly, in Ajmer, Congress fell short of a clear majority and won only 37 seats in the 80-ward local body.

The results in Bharatpur took parties by surprise, as Independent candidates won 36 of 65 wards. The BJP won 20 wards, while the Congress managed to get only 7. 1 ward each went to BSP and RSP.

The two parties are engaged in a tooth-and-nail battle in Jodhpur and Pali. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which contested in all the 10 municipal corporations, has failed to secure even a single ward so far.
