What Has Triggered the Ruckus?

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillors created a ruckus during the MCD meeting, demanding the release of councillors' development funds. Responding to the opposition's demand, Mayor Pravesh Wahi announced the release of a development fund of Rs 25 lakh, saying a total of Rs 2 crore would be released to councillors in the current financial year. However, AAP councillors were not satisfied with this and demanded an increase to Rs 1 crore.

Clash Over Pollution

Amid the uproar, AAP councillors approached the mayor's seat and started sloganeering over the pollution issue, causing the House to adjourn for five minutes. When the meeting resumed, the opposition questioned the corporation and the government's approach to pollution control.
