A man allegedly killed his wife and three daughters by striking them multiple times with a stone on their head in Jaipur’s Kardhani area during the early hours of Friday. The accused, Rahul Jha, killed his wife Geeta Jha (40), eldest daughter Nandini (22), second daughter Radhika (17), and youngest daughter Girish alias Gauri (14).
At around 10 am, the police officials found their bodies inside their house in Govind Vatika. His elderly father, Lakshminath Jha, was found inside the house when officers arrived. The bodies were found in different rooms of the house at Plot No. A-169 in Govind Vatika. Following this, the forensic team reached the house and began examining the scene.

A stone allegedly used in the crime was recovered from the house. Initial investigations suggested that the matter escalated after a family dispute. Rahul allegedly attacked the four family members wile they were asleep. According to the police officials, the accused attempted to remove the blood stains from the scene using a cloth.

Investigations Underway
Initial police investigations indicate that a family dispute was the primary motive behind the murder. West District Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Prashant Kiran stated that multiple specialized police teams have been deployed to locate and arrest the suspect, with ongoing raids across potential hideouts.
Cops are now questioning family members, relatives and neighbours to ascertain whether there had been any ongoing disputes or tensions within the family. Search operations have been launched to trace the accused and are investigating all angles in the case.
