ARMA told news agency that the timing of the event could disrupt business activities. "Ramlila Maidan is located in the middle of Asia’s largest commercial zone—with major markets like Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazaar, Daryaganj, Mori Gate, and Kashmere Gate within a three-kilometre radius," APMA president Vinay Narang said.

One of the protestors from Firozpur, Baljinder Singh alleged that thousands of vehicles remained stranded overnight due to barricading on the Punjab-Haryana corridor.

As part of security measures, entry and exit points have been under stringent checks. Metal detectors and through checking has been planned by the Delhi Police at the site. To cover the expansive ground, the police have divided the ground into 14 zones, under ACPs and DCPs.
