  1. Five family members found dead in Greater Noida home.
  2. In-laws accused of murder over property transfer dispute.
  3. Police investigating cause, awaiting post-mortem results.

Hours after a family of five, including three children, were found dead at their home in Greater Noida under mysterious circumstances, allegations of murder over property disputes have surfaced.

Mahesh along with his wife Lalitha and three children Laddu, Mishti and Sakshat were found dead at their home in Nangla Shrigopal village, in the Rabupura area of Greater Noida. Lalitha's family members have now alleged that her mother-in-law along with her daughter have murdered the family.

This entire matter is now being reported as a dispute arising from the transfer of 10 bighas of land and a residential house to the daughters. According to Lalitha's family, her in-laws had received compensation for a piece of land in 2015-16, but they kept it to themselves and did not share it with Mahesh.

Lalitha's family further alleged that about six months ago, Mahesh's mother transferred approximately 10 bighas of land to her daughter and her husband. This deeply hurt the entire family.

More recently, she even transferred the house where the family lived to her daughter's name. This devastated Mahesh and his wife, leaving them worried about their future. Family members claim that the murder was committed by the deceased's mother-in-law in connivance with her daughter. However, the police have not yet issued a statement in this matter.

How the family died?

According to initial information, Mahesh and his family went to sleep after eating noodles at 10 PM pm on Friday. However, when their door was found closed despite the morning passed, suspicion grew among neighbours who opened the gate to find all of them dead in bed.

Upon receiving the information, the SDM arrived at the scene and stared investigation. The police have prepared an inquest report of all the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination.

Prima facie the deaths seem to be a result of accidental food poisoning but the cops are waiting for post-mortem report to ascertain the reason and circumstances around the deaths.
