Jagran Bureau, New Delhi: Following controversy over the NEET-UG paper leak, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is restructuring its administrative and technical frameworks to prevent future paper leaks.
As part of this initiative, the agency is establishing a professional cadre of experts from ten key fields, including cybersecurity, test security, live operations, vigilance, and forensics. Recruitment for several of these positions has already been announced, with advertisements for other positions expected shortly.
NTA Recruits Senior Specialists After High-Level Committee Recommendations
Following recommendations from the high-level expert committee, the NTA is recruiting experts from various fields to address operational challenges and counter the active presence of the exam mafia.
The agency is hiring ten experts at the general manager level, with recruitment for about a dozen administrative and technical positions already announced in the first batch. Among these roles, the NTA plans to deploy a general manager-level expert to study and collaborate on best practices adopted worldwide to conduct examinations safely. All these specialists will be appointed on a three-year contractual basis.
The NTA has previously announced recruitment for positions such as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Finance Officer. To increase efficiency, the agency had also decided to recruit 16 Young Professionals, for which advertisements have been released, and positions will be filled through the UPSC.

Government Sets Up High-Powered Task Force
To strengthen the National Testing Agency (NTA) and improve examination processes, the government has constituted a six-member task force chaired by Infosys co-founder and Aadhaar architect Nandan Nilekani. The panel has commenced its work and is expected to submit a preliminary report regarding the upcoming examination shortly.
