Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Thursday fumed over exit poll projections, accusing the BJP of 'fixing' them. CM Mamata also expressed confidence in the return of her government to power after May 4.

The West Bengal CM released a video message, a day after the exit polls were released. She said that the party would not allow any 'khela' during counting.

Rejecting the exit poll numbers outright, she alleged that the Exit Polls were released from the BJP's office and the numbers are fabricated to demoralise TMC workers.

"What is being shown on television was circulated from the BJP office at 1.08 pm. Money was paid to ensure it was aired. I have specific information," she alleged.

Making a bold claim, CM Mamata said that TMC will defy exit polls and return to power with 226 seats. "We will return to power by winning more than 226 of 294 assembly seats in Bengal," she said.
