Buldhana Horror: A man killed his four children and later hanged himself in Maharashtra's Buldhana district. Police on Tuesday said a 35-year-old man named Vijay Kiradiya took the extreme move after a quarrel with his wife.
"A 35-year-old man allegedly murdered his four children by throwing them into a well following a quarrel with his wife and hanged himself," said police. The tragic incident occurred at Rajura village in Jalgaon-Jamod taluka on May 24.
According to investigating officials, the accused was angered by a quarrel with his wife. He allegedly threw his son Preet (7), daughters Prachi (5) and Purvi (4), and another son Piyush (2) into a well on a farm, causing their deaths, and ended his own life, a police official said, adding that further probe is underway.
Man Kills Wife Over Extramarital Affair, Dies By Suicide
In another incident, a 34-year-old man allegedly killed his wife and died by suicide over her extramarital affair in Madhya Pradesh's Indore district, triggering a chain of events where the woman's paramour also ended his life.
A man strangled his 28-year-old wife at their home in Indore city's Hira Nagar area on Sunday, allegedly following a dispute over her extramarital affair, and then committed suicide by consuming poison, an official said.
He said that in a suicide note recovered from the scene, the husband alleged that a man living in Pithampur had seduced his wife, established physical relations with her and had threatened to circulate private photos of her on social media. The note further claimed that despite repeated pleas and persuasion to stay away, the woman's paramour refused to back down.
