Jagran Correspondent, Patna: In a major update in Patna's Khan Global Studies violence case, the brother of the Gyan Bindu centre's director, Roshan Anand, was reportedly shot dead in Nepal. Prince Yadav, the deceased, was absconding since the violence broke out and was hiding in Nepal, reported Jagran, citing sources. A large police force has been deployed in Pirbahor and Kadamkuan regions to control any possible escalation.

As per the reports, the Bihar police have been searching for Yadav since the violence broke out at Khan Sir's coaching centre in Patna. However, he reportedly fled to Nepal soon after the incident to avoid an arrest and was hiding in a guest house there. As per the reports, Prince Yadav was shot in the same guest house where he was hiding. Roshan Anand, another accused, is already in jail in connection with the uproar at Khan Global Studies.

The family members of Roshan Anand have rushed to Nepal upon receiving the information of the death of Prince Yadav. The reports suggest that Prince Yadav was also accused of attacking Khan Sir's coaching institute earlier in 2021. The officials, while providing details, stated that the circumstances of his murder are being investigated for the exact details.

Earlier, on June 2, Roshan Anand and two of his associates were arrested in connection with the violence at Khan Global Studies. Apart from this, Khan Sir, director of Khan Global Studies, has also been charged in the case. The police also arrested his two guards, accused of opening fire during the violence.

The Patna District Judge on Tuesday granted a stay on Khan Sir's arrest in the case registered against him for allegedly orchestrating a firing at his coaching institute. As per the case, the educator allegedly told his security guards to open fire at a crowd outside his coaching centre.
