Ketan Murder Case: Siya's Father Suffers Heart Attack, Admitted To ICU Days After Her Arrest

Amid the ongoing investigation into Ketan Agarwal's murder case, the father of the accused fiancée, Siya Goyal, suffered a heart attack. He was immediately rushed to a hospital and was admitted to the ICU, where a team of doctors was monitoring him.

The development comes as reports suggest Siya was being pressured into the marriage while she wanted to marry Chetan, her lover and co-accused in Ketan's murder.

Ketan's father has claimed that he wasn't ready for the marriage as Siya was just 20 years old, but her father kept on insisting, as they had known each other for several years.

Investigation so far

According to the latest information, the police investigation into the Ketan Agarwal murder case has intensified. Police interrogated Siya and Chetan face-to-face until late on Wednesday night. Both accused are currently in police custody for seven days.

The accused are reportedly blaming each other for the murder. Pune Police have also detained a man named Neeraj Kumar, who worked at Chetan's shop. According to police sources, on June 18 (the day of the incident), Chetan went to Lohagarh Fort with his servant Neeraj's mobile phone.

Police suspect that Chetan had used Neeraj's phone to conceal his identity and had made multiple calls to Siya. Neeraj had been working for Chetan for the past three years.

A video from a cafe in Pune has also gone viral, showing Siya and Chetan together. The purported video is said to be from June 17, a day before the murder. The accused reportedly planned the murder that day.

Chetan's father rejects son's involvement

Chetna's father, Babulal Chaudhary, has now come to his son's defence. Babulal, a grocery store owner, said, "My son has been falsely implicated by co-accused Siya. We don't know the girl at all."

"I heard her name, Siya, for the first time yesterday and saw her for the first time at the police station," he added.
