In a fresh development in the Ketan Agarwal murder case, his fiancee and accused, Siya Goyal, has agreed to undergo a polygraph test after he was allegedly pushed to his death from a hill at Lohagad Fort in Maharashtra.

Siya Goyal has consented to a lie detector test in connection with the murder of her fiance, real estate businessman Ketan Agarwal. Legal consent from the accused is required before conducting such a test.

Her lawyer, Vipul Dusing, stated that the 20-year-old gave her consent to the Lonavala rural police on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chetan Chaudhary (22), the co-accused and alleged lover of Siya Goyal, is also facing a polygraph test request after Pune Rural Police moved to a local court on Thursday to secure authorisation for both suspects.

What is a polygraph test?

A polygraph test, commonly referred to as a lie detector test, records physiological responses such as blood pressure, pulse rate, respiration, and sweat activity while the subject answers questions related to the case.
