Jharkhand Students Protest: Amid the ongoing student protest in Jharkhand, an eight-member delegation of the 'JPSC-JSSC Candidate Justice Forum' is set to meet the state government delegation for the second time today. The students will raise the demands of the aspirants of key state-level examinations, especially Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).

Second Round Of Meeting Today

As per the reports, the key meeting will be held at the State Guest House in Morabadi at around 10 am. Earlier in the evening hours of Friday, the first round of talks was held, which the protesting students defined positive. While the first meeting gave positive signals, the students stated that the picture will get clear in the upcoming meetings.

"It was a positive meeting. Further discussions will be held. The protest continues. Our issues were taken seriously. They will speak with the CM. A solution will be brought about," a member of the students' delegation stated.

Apart from this, the students asserted that the protest will continue until their demands are met. They further warned that they will march towards the assembly if the government does not fulfill their demands by August 10. The protesters had earlier asked Chief Minister Hemant Soren to address the issue and talk to the protesting students.

What Are Their Demands?

The students have demanded to immediately cancel the exams conducted by TDPL, including 14th JPSC, JPSC Backlog 2023, JPSC Backlog 2025, FRO, 11th–13th JPSC, and APP. Apart from this, the protesters have demanded a detailed Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged irregularities in multiple exams, such as JSSC CGL (January 2023 Paper Leak), JSSC CGL Re-Exam (September 2023), and JSSC PGT.
