A luxury Ferrari sports car on Sunday crashed into the main gate of Hill View Apartments on Road No 5 in Hyderabad's Film Nagar. The driver of the luxury car allegedly rammed it into the apartment gate at around 4 AM.
The accident caused damage to the property. The driver and other occupants allegedly left the car behind and fled the scene after the accident. Speaking about the incident, the police said that there were no casualties reported.
The police have registered a case into the incident and are examining CCTV footage. Further investigation is underway, the police added.

Rash driving, intoxication suspected
The police suspect that the driver of the luxury vehicle was under the influence of alcohol and driving the vehicle at a high speed and in a rash manner.
The damaged Ferrari was shifted to the police station with the help of a towing vehicle.
This is the second such incident in Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills within a week. Earlier on July 9, an SUV crashed into Tollywood actor Dharma's residence during the night hours.
The driver was under the influence of alcohol and had rammed the SUV into the residence of Dharma on Road Number 10. The accident caused damage to the compound wall of the actor's house.
The police rushed to the spot after the actor alerted them. A breathalyser test was conducted on the accused driver, which confirmed that he was drunk.

The accused driver was identified by the police as Karthik Kumar. He drove the SUV in a rash and negligent manner before losing control and ramming into Dharma's house. There were no casualties.
The accused was arrested after the actor alerted the police. Police registered a criminal case against Kartik Kumar and launched further investigation.
