Himachal Pradesh News: In a shocking incident, a man died due to kukure (a crunchy puffcorn snack made from rice, lentils, and corn) in Himachal Pradesh, leaving people baffled. Hailing from Tal village, Gram Panchayat Ghanugughat, Arki subdivision, Solan, he felt uneasy after a piece of Kurkure got stuck in his windpipe. The deceased has been identified as Hemant Sharma (28), son of Deepram Sharma. Hemant Sharma was an employee of a private hotel in Kasauli.

According to reports, Hemant was eating a Kurkure when a piece of the snack got stuck in his windpipe. He subsequently experienced severe breathing difficulties. His family rushed him to MMU Sultanpur for immediate treatment. After providing first aid, doctors referred him to PGI Chandigarh due to his critical condition.

Hemant Dies During Treatment

The young man was treated at PGI Chandigarh, but his condition did not improve as expected. Later, Hemant collapsed during treatment on Wednesday afternoon. Upon receiving news of the young man's death, a wave of grief spread across Tal village and the surrounding areas. The untimely demise of Hemant has brought a mountain of grief upon the family.

People in the area have expressed deep sorrow over this tragic incident and extended their condolences to the bereaved family. An atmosphere of mourning prevails in the village, and people have prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace. Many were unable to digest the news of his death, as how can eating kurkere may lead to death?

Jharkhand Man Dies After Choking On Rasgulla

Earlier in March this year, a similar incident happened in which a man lost his life. At a wedding celebration in a Jharkhand village, a 41-year-old man, Lalit Singh, tragically died after choking on a rasgulla. He was enjoying the celebrations and food with fellow villagers when he attempted to eat Rasgulla, which got stuck in his throat, after which he felt heavy difficulties in breathing.
